How to read these quotes

Individual homes differ. Eddy is an electronic descaler: it helps with scale adhesion; it is not a salt water softener and not RO. “Water appears softer” in a customer’s words does not mean ion-exchange softening. An electronic descaler will not replace a broken heater.
