Terms of Sale / Use

1. Who you are contracting with

Orders on this website are sold by Zayyan Investment International SPC (“Zayyan”, “we”, “us”), Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Eddy Water Oman is our trading name for UK Eddy electronic descalers and related services.

2. What we sell

  • Eddy electronic descaler hardware (DIY twin-coil unit) and accessories listed on the site.
  • Optional Professional Install add-on: we arrange a subcontracted licensed plumber and/or electrician. Zayyan does not itself perform licensed electrical work.

Eddy is a water descaler (helps reduce new limescale adhesion). It is not a salt water softener, not reverse osmosis, and not a drinking-water filter. See product page and FAQs for limits (including high TDS/salinity).

3. Prices, VAT, and payment

Prices are shown in Omani Rial. Unless stated otherwise, prices are ex-VAT; VAT is added at checkout where applicable. Online card payments, when enabled, are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. An order is an offer; we accept when we send confirmation / begin fulfilment.

4. Delivery (Oman)

We deliver across Oman to the address you give. Timing estimates are not guarantees. Risk in goods passes on delivery to you (or your nominated recipient). Tell us promptly of damage or shortfall.

5. DIY install and professional install

  • DIY: You follow the instructions; you are responsible for safe installation and for any work you do on your property.
  • Professional Install: Attendance windows are estimates. Access, working pipe location, and a safe power point must be available. Extra materials, non-standard pipes, or repeat visits may be charged if agreed. Workmanship terms for subcontracted labour are as confirmed on your install booking confirmation.

6. 365-day money-back (Eddy hardware)

For the Eddy descaler unit purchased from this site, if you are not satisfied you may request a refund within 365 days of delivery under our Money-Back Guarantee. Summary conditions:

  • Request within 365 days of delivery; follow return instructions we send.
  • Unit and accessories returned in resalable condition with proof of purchase, unless we agree otherwise.
  • Refund of the product price paid (and standard outbound shipping if we require return and the claim is accepted); install labour, custom work, and damage from misuse/incorrect install may be excluded.

7. Warranty (electrical failure)

Manufacturer lifetime repair/replace pathways for electrical failure of the original unit (as described by Invatek / Eddy UK) may apply in addition to the money-back policy. We will explain the process when you contact support. Consumer rights under Oman law are not excluded where mandatory.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or submit unlawful content. Product claims on the site describe descaling / scale-control benefits; they are not medical advice.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by Oman law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; our total liability for a product order is limited to the amount you paid for that order; nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. DIY or third-party install errors are outside our hardware liability except as required by law or our written MBG/warranty.

10. Privacy

Personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Courts of Oman have jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections.
